Ghost Recon – A World With No Heroes by makemepulse
This project was selected in both the Craft and Technical Innovation and the Interactive Film & VR, AR, MR categories in The Annual 2018, CR’s award scheme celebrating the best in commercial creativity
In the game A World With No Heroes , players control four elite soldiers called Ghosts who are on a mission to take down a Bolivian cartel.
To create excitement before the game launch, the A World With No Heroes website recreates the world where the action takes place, before the players have arrived. A 3D map of the game enables players to explore different environments, thanks to 50 surveillance cameras streaming more than eight hours of video captured in-game.
During the game’s development, the creative team spent three months exploring every area of the map and looking for the most iconic landscapes. “To bring the map to life, we added subtle design touches such as animals, traffic, trains and planes, which added a layer of depth to the world,” they say.
