Manchester Literature Festival 2017 brand identity by MARK Studio

This project was selected in the Design – Brand Identity category in The Annual 2018, CR’s award scheme celebrating the best in commercial creativity

“Manchester is a city of stories and storytellers. It’s also a city of activism, protest, pioneers and radicals,” says design studio MARK. “With this in mind, the Manchester Literature Festival 17 identity is based around the theme of ‘PROTEST’ and ‘ACTIVISM’, where simple, elegant typographic applications are subverted / vandalised with spray paint graffiti lending a spontaneous, anarchic, ambiguous spin to all the campaign applications and messages.”
