Creative Review was founded in 1980 and has been bringing the creative community together ever since, first as a print magazine and in recent decades across digital, print, social media and events. Throughout its lifetime it has been owned by Centaur Media though today it is announced that is has been acquired by Haymarket, alongside its sister brands Marketing Week and the Festival of Marketing.

The move will see the three brands sit within Haymarket’s Business Media (HBM) division, which contains other long-established brands, including Campaign, Performance Marketing World, PRWeek and its newly launched sister title, In.Comms.

“Today marks a big moment for Creative Review, with an opportunity from Haymarket for the brand to strengthen and grow its offering, while continuing to deliver the high level of inspiration, opinion and critique that our audience know and (hopefully) love us for,” says Eliza Williams, Creative Review’s editor.

“These brands have a strong heritage, and we look forward to building on their success and welcoming them into the Haymarket fold,” says Donna Murphy, HBM’s deputy managing director. “Together I am confident we will create truly exciting content and game-changing events for our clients and audiences.”
